IGCAT WEBINAR I WORKING TOGETHER FOR WORLD BEE DAY I 22 February 2023 I 10h (CET)
Dr. Peter Kozmus, Professional leader of the Breeding Programme for the Carniolan honey bee, as well as vice-president of APIMONDIA and IGCAT Expert in Slovenia, European Region of Gastronomy since 2021, will share important initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of bees and other pollinators. The Association of Beekeepers in Slovenia promotes the Golden Bee Award and together with IGCAT we hope to promote this important competition throughout our Regions of Gastronomy. The association has had a pivotal role in the United Nations designation World Bee Day, 20 May and we hope to connect bee associations and education institutions with a shared international campaign for 20 May 2023.
